About Us

We are Russ and Donna and this blog is a simple attempt to share and remember some of the things we are learning in our walk with the Lord.  This blog was a dream of ours for several years, as we went into retirement.  We first envisioned a web-site and even registered the domain name of Chapel on the Way.

But a web-site turned out to be a whole lot more work than these retired folks wanted to do!!  And so our idea lay dormant until we learned about blogging.  As we prepared to do some retirement travel, our blogging was more about our trips and our motor home.  Our original idea of having our motor home as a traveling chapel fell by the wayside.

We still feel that we can worship God wherever we are and thus the title, Chapel on the Way.  We hope that this blog will be a way for like minded travelers (and non-travelers) to share the good things of God, as well as some of the things we are forever learning.  Honest questions and other points of view are welcome as long as they are respectful to all.

I would respectfully request that this not become a forum for debating the existence of God or  "RELIGION."  I am not here to debate, only to share.  I assume if you are reading this blog, you are like minded and if you are only here to lambast believers, please refrain.  There are other forums for that and this is not one of them.  This is my blog and I wish to write about what is dear to my heart.  If you do not like what I write it is a simple matter to just not read the blog!!  Thank you.
